Hailing from Pittsburgh, PA and based in Los Angeles, CA, Mike Gratzmiller has been honing his craft in commercials, tv and film for over two decades. With a collaborative spirit and a keen eye, he has been fortunate to have traveled the world creating original visual content for clients across many different genres, with a focus on documentaries and commercials.

• What do I love about photography and film?

I love that when I have a camera in my hands, I have the ability to frame what’s important and pleasing to my eye. I am able to cut out everything that isn’t serving my vision – which is something us humans are rarely able to do in life.

 • Why I enjoy flying drone?

It is amazing to have a bird’s eye-view of the world – and I get to witness, record and share that awe-inspiring perspective when filming with a drone.

• Favorite thing about collaborating with other creatives?

I continue to learn! I thrive on collaboration and believe there is no better way to succeed than using your imagination while working as a team to achieve a collective vision or goal.
